Process Piping

Wolfe Industrial has the capability to fabricate and install pipe for a variety of different piping applications. Many of our skilled craftsmen are pipe fitters by trade and have the knowledge to handle many types of piping services including fabricating and installing process piping, sanitary tubing, compressed air piping, hydraulic piping, water piping, and gas piping. Process piping projects have consisted of conveying cooking oil, potable water, corn syrup, shortening, yeast, icing, acid, and ground beef. Wolfe Industrial is qualified to fabricate and install any type of piping process you desire.

Pneumatic Conveying

Positive pressure systems and vacuum systems are types of pneumatic conveying systems that Wolfe Industrial can design, fabricate, supply, and install using stainless steel tubing or piping in schedule 40 or 80. Vacuum systems are designed for house cleaning, safety, reclamation of product and prevention of contamination. The vacuum systems we have installed convey materials such as saw dust, scale dust, aluminum powder, flour, sugar, and other reclaimable materials.  Positive pressure systems are installed for conveying raw materials from silos, tanks, or bins to the actual production equipment. We supply all the equipment for each stainless steel pneumatic conveying system, including the receivers, pumps, and/or collectors. The positive pressure systems we install convey, plastic pellets, talcum powder, carbon black, rubber, flour, sugar, and pet food ingredients.

Wolfe Industrial designs, fabricates, modifies, repairs, and/or installs custom stainless steel tanks, bins, carts, skids, chutes, funnels, and valves. We have the capacity to service these products in a variety of applications and sizes.

Each stainless steel tank, bin, or hopper we fabricate and install can hold several types of materials, from dry ingredients to liquid substances. We have the capabilities to fabricate and install a tank, bin, or hopper from 2ft. to 14ft. in diameter or square and from 4ft. to 45ft. tall. Stainless steel material thicknesses range from 16 gauge to ½” plate.

Each stainless steel cart, skid, chute, funnel, or valve product has its own individual function, but each product serves a manufacturing process in its own specific industry. As in everything we fabricate, there is a wide variety of designs available in each of these items. Guards & Enclosures

To meet OSHA regulations and prevent injuries, safety guards and enclosures are used to minimize machine-operator contact. Wolfe Industrial is a member of the National Safety Council and utilizes their expertise in designing guards and enclosures. Whether you want protection from power transmission equipment, robots, conveyors, slitters or any other equipment, Wolfe Industrial can solve your safety related issues. Our skilled crews are readily available and have the experience to fabricate and install any type of guard or enclosure for your facility.

Stainless steel air systems are used in numerous industrial applications where high temperatures, corrosive contaminants or sanitation is a factor. The specific grade of stainless will vary based on your particular application. Wolfe Industrial has the expertise to specify the correct solution for your process. Particulates, fumes, vapors, and mists are some of the contaminants that must be controlled in the work environment. Also, cooling, heating, dilution ventilation, make-up air, and humidity control are necessary in all efficient manufacturing plants.

Exhaust Systems

Heat from cookers, fryers, ovens, furnaces, and other process equipment must be exhausted. Contaminants in the form of particulates, fumes, vapors and mists should be either exhausted or collected. Welding fumes, soldering smoke, heat treating, or machining oily mists, injection molding fumes, paint vapors, and mists from various manufacturing processes are typical needs in most plants. Capture hoods with the correct capture velocity are connected to a ducting system with an exhaust fan designed to move the contaminants through an exhaust stack to the outside atmosphere.

Dust Collection Systems

Dust collection for material handling systems and process systems eliminates fugitive dust infiltration of the work place environment. Whether it is carbon black being transferred into a hopper or a secret batter recipe being mixed for chicken, Wolfe Industrial has already solved that problem. We have solutions to all of your collection problems.

All types of air cleaning devices are available in stainless steel. Centrifugal Separators, Cartridge and Fabric Collectors, Oil Mist Collectors, Electrostatic Precipitators and Scrubbers are some of the types of equipment we can furnish.

Make-up Air Systems

Make-up or Supply air systems are critical in the success of overall balancing of airflows in manufacturing facilities. Exhaust systems will not function correctly without proper allowance for make-up air. These systems are designed for plant ventilation air changes, building pressurization, heating, cooling, humidification, and to promote air cleanliness. Airborne health hazards, potential fire or explosive conditions, odors, and other nuisance type of contaminants can be controlled with proper air make-up systems.

Pneumatic Systems

Centrifugal blowers and exhausters are used to develop high pressure to efficiently move materials in an air stream. Product handling systems for plastic pellets, carbon black, cement, pigments, silica, baby powder, corn starch, sugar, flour and other product ingredients are some examples of Wolfe Industrial projects.

Vacuum Systems

Portable units or central systems are a necessity in all manufacturing facilities. Systems are designed for process applications, reclamation of product, contamination prevention, plant safety and housekeeping purposes.

Baby powder, flour, carbon black, silica, iron powder, steel shavings, feed ingredients, paper dust, machining scrap, wood shavings and sawdust, plastic powder, and many others are some of our successful applications.
